Coaching Persona

We have bad days (and good).  We have kids that annoy us (and those we enjoy).  We have worries and stressors.  But, they all have to be put aside when you coach.

YOU don't exist when you coach....your coaching persona does.  That persona is your mask...your character....your go-to personality for coaching.

That persona has to pull from the best parts of you that will connect with kids most.  You'll need to develop that character over time.  But, make it intentional and natural.  It's a caricature of yourself.

Who are you as a person that will make kids happy, have fun, and feel special?  That's who you need to "put on" every time you coach.
