Be the Alpha....in the good way.

Did you know that in the canine world, the alpha isn't just the bossy, mean, tough one? In fact, the "alpha" is the "parent" or the "guide" of the group, ensuring cooperation and coordination through nurturing and protecting its members.  Yes, that sometimes means the alpha needs to step up and be strong and in charge.  But its role is really to help the rest of the pack get along and thrive.  

So, be the alpha.  You are in charge.  But, only because you're guiding your kiddos to learning (physical, mental, and emotional skills) and watching out for the good of the whole group.  It's not about your dominance, it's about your leadership.
