XCEL REGIONALS
​LOCATION: McCook Athletic & Exposition Center (4750 Vernon Ave, La Grange, IL 60525)
SPECTATORS: $20 Adults ($15 Youth and Seniors)
DATE: April 26-Sunday, April 28
SCHEDULE: ​Sunday, April 28 -- 3pm Stretch, 6:10 Awards (Abby, Nana, Ria)
Competition
Gymnasts should:
​​

Arrive in competition leo, sweatshirt, and leggings.
Parents can keep outerwear. No undergarments visible outside the lines of the competition leo; wear items either skin toned or a color matching to the competitive leo as a precaution. -
Have competition bag.
Everything they may need (grips/braces/tape/etc, extra hair ties/pins/etc) and water if desired should be in the bag. -
Have their hair "meet ready" (NO LOOSE HAIRS).
Hair can be any combination of braid and bun. No face framing pieces, no fan buns, no loose ponies, etc. Hair should be smooth and sleek. -
NOT wear nail polish or jewelry.
Exception: 1 pair of stud earrings are permitted. -
Have a positive and/or resilient attitude throughout competition.
Things go wrong. Things go right. We learn and move forward!
Expectations
Spectators (parents) should:

NOT enter any competition (gymnastics) area.
This is a USA Gymnastics rule and violations of this rule results in penalties and possible voiding of the competition. -
NOT speak to their children or try to get their attention.

NOT question the coach, meet staff, officials, etc.
If you have questions, let us know after the meet. -
NOT worry about scores.
They can come in last and be really proud of improvements they've made. They can come in first and be really disappointed in mistakes they've made. It's about where they're at and how they're trying to grow. -
BE super proud of the effort their daughters have put in: dedication, hard work, learning.

BE supportive of all gymnasts -- of any gym, of any team.
